PUBG Scrims and Competitive Teams for UK Players
There is no UK-only league – UK teams compete in the EMEA region. Here is how the 2026 path works and how to get a team into it.
How competitive PUBG works for UK teams in 2026
UK teams play in the PUBG EMEA Championship (PEC), the official circuit for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. For 2026, PUBG Esports moved PEC to an open, three-stage format where any team can start at the bottom and play its way up.
| Stage | What happens | How you progress |
|---|---|---|
| Scrims | Weekly scrims open to registered teams, run as an elimination bracket over several days | Survive the bracket to reach that week's Cup |
| Cups | One-day Saturday events, best of five matches; every kill and placement point counts | Points build an overall leaderboard across the weeks |
| Playoffs | Qualified teams play alongside invited teams; scores reset daily | Beat the daily cut-off on any day to qualify for Finals |
| Finals | Classic three-day format; highest total points wins | Winners are invited to PUBG Global Series (PGS) events |
For PEC: Fall 2026, PUBG Esports announced five weeks of scrims and cups, two playoff stages and two finals weekends, with the top teams from the cups leaderboard (plus the Cup 4 and Cup 5 winners) going through to playoffs. Formats change between seasons, so always read the current rulebook linked from the official announcement.
How to register a team
- Build a roster. You need a full squad plus at least one substitute you can rely on for the whole season.
- Read the rulebook. Eligibility, roster rules and anti-cheat requirements are in the rulebook linked from the PUBG Esports sign-up post.
- Register on WASDEFY. PEC sign-ups run through the WASDEFY tournament platform; the link is in the official sign-up announcement.
- Turn up every week. Points accumulate across cups, so consistency matters more than one big result.
Finding a team or players from the UK
- Community Discords. Most EU PUBG scrim groups and team-finding channels run on Discord. Look for "LFT" (looking for team) and "LFP" (looking for players) channels.
- EU scrim organisers. Independent organisers such as EU PUBG Scrims post schedules and sign-ups on social media.
- Liquipedia. Team pages show who is active, which rosters are changing and which teams recently lost players.
- Ranked. Players you meet often in high-ranked EU lobbies are a good source of teammates – add them after a good game.
Getting tournament-ready
- Play on the Europe servers with a stable connection – see PUBG ping for UK players.
- Learn the ranked and competitive maps properly, starting with Erangel, Miramar, Taego and Rondo.
- Agree a callout system and roles (IGL, entry, support, scout) before your first scrim.
- Review your own match replays after each scrim day – rotations lose more points than aim.
