About PUBG.uk
Who this site is for, how the guides are researched, and how they are kept current.
What PUBG.uk is
PUBG.uk is an independent guide for UK players of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on PC. It covers the practical side of competitive play – settings, audio, aim, weapons, maps and how to get into tournaments – rather than news or rumours.
The site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by KRAFTON, Inc. or Tencent Games. PUBG and PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS are trademarks of KRAFTON, Inc., used here only to describe the game the site covers. PUBG.uk does not sell accounts, cheats, boosting or anything that breaks the game's rules.
How guides are researched
- Official sources first. Weapon, map and feature facts are checked against PUBG's official patch notes and map service reports, and competitive information against PUBG Esports announcements.
- Every guide lists its sources at the bottom, and shows which game update it was checked against.
- Preference is treated as preference. For sensitivity, crosshair, keybinds and monitors, guides explain how to find your own answer instead of giving "magic numbers".
- Data is labelled. Where a guide uses match statistics, such as weapon usage, it names where they come from and when.
How guides are kept up to date
PUBG changes often. After major updates the guides most affected – the weapon tier list, map guides and the "What's new" summary on the home page – are reviewed and their dates updated. If something looks out of date, the update shown at the top of each guide tells you how current it is.
Links and advertising
Product links on the site point to general Amazon UK searches and are marked as nofollow. External links to tournaments and official sites are there because they are useful, not because anyone paid for them.
